SLD was pleased to have distributed the Ljusdesign lighting system through our  Australian reseller, bluebottle, for the Museum of Economic Botany.

In the heart of Adelaide Botanical Gardens sits the stately Museum of Economic Botany, which regularly showcases immersive art exhibitions for visitors to enjoy. This includes the designer Khai Liew’s exhibition space, a distinctive permanent installation made from timber and brass. The photographs above feature the transformation of this exhibition space into a retail outlet by the well-known, Jam Factory, for the Chihuly in the Botanic Garden.

The Khai Liew structure was recently upgraded with the Swedish Ljusdesign exhibition track lighting, supplied by our local reseller, Bluebottle. This upgrade consisted of the Arty Zoom spotlights, which are highly versatile with an adjustable zoom feature and barn doors for framing. The Botanic Gardens team selected the Arty Zoom model, featuring a local dimmer and Casambi Bluetooth control via the app, offering their team maximum flexibility for each new display.

The project has been a true success for all teams involved. For more information on our contribution, Ljusdesign and the Museum of Economic Botany, please contact our team.
