Victorian Tourism Hub: Puffing Billy Visitor Centre

An icon of Victorian tourism, the Puffing Billy Visitor Centre celebrates the rich history of Victoria's favourite railway which features the Swedish Ljus Design exhibition lighting throughout its engaging design. Located in the Dandenong Ranges, this important and dynamic display of historical artefacts has been designed to cater for all ages. 

The expert lighting design led by Benjamin Cisterne and exhibition design by Thylacine played a key part in the projects success. The Ljus Design Pico Trac exhibition lighting system with Gizmo's was selected to illuminate this collection. Importantly, the Gizmo fittings come with a local dimmer and a range of easy-to-use interchangeable lenses which allows for the optimal beam angle to be achieved when illuminating each artefact.
