SLD was proud to collaborate with our Canberra-based reseller, Designcase, to supply the Ljusdesign lighting system for the National Museum of Australia’s Landmarks exhibition.

Landmarks is a prestigious and permanent exhibition that features over 1,500 objects. It tells the story of Australia’s history since European settlement through the lens of significant places, people, and their deep connections to the land, flora, and fauna.

The exhibition recently underwent a major redevelopment, including a complete redesign of the lighting by acclaimed lighting designer Benjamin Cisterne. As part of this transformation, Designcase worked closely with the museum's design and curatorial teams to deliver a tailored lighting solution using Ljusdesign products.

Key components included the Neo Framer Narrow and Neo Framer Wide Casambi spotlights, mounted on global 3cct track systems to precisely illuminate key collection items. Additionally, Gizmo spotlights with glass mounts were selected to provide sensitive and accurate showcase lighting for delicate objects.

We extend our congratulations to everyone involved in this exceptional project. For more information about our involvement, the Ljusdesign range, or the National Museum of Australia, please contact our team.
