The recently redeveloped, National Archives of Australia is an institution which recognises the importance of communication and perspective across Australian history. Located in Canberra, the now contemporary galleries of Connections and Voices feature the Swedish Ljus Design exhibition lighting throughout.

The expert lighting design led by Benjamin Cisterne and exhibition design by Thylacine played a key part in the projects success. The Ljus Design Arty spotlights were installed to illuminate this blended digital and archival collection. These fixtures are known for high-performance, clean design and flexibility, supplied to the National Archives by our ACT reseller, Designcase.

Congratulations to all involved in this standout project which has won two exhibition design awards in 2020. For more information on Ljus Design and the National Archives of Australia, please feel free to contact our team.
