Project Spotlight: Lighting Upgrade at Gangtey Lodge, Bhutan

Tucked away in Bhutan’s serene Phrobjikha Valley, the award-winning 5-star Gangtey Lodge offers a special retreat for guests to seeking tranquillity, adventure, and deep connection to nature. Recently, the lodge embarked on a significant lighting upgrade, enhancing both main communal areas and guest rooms to elevate the overall experience.  

For this project, SLD had the privilege of supplying the premium Soraa Vivid MR16 lamps to bluebottle Victoria who worked alongside the other teams in Bhutan to successfully install and commission the new lighting system. The Soraa Vivid MR16 range renowned for its precise colour rendering, advanced technologies and superior optic design, was strategically selected due to the brands quality reputation and now illuminates the lodge enriching the spaces for all.
