Splendour in the Grass Featuring SGM

Splendour in the Grass is a well-known and consistently sold-out music festival in North Byron Parklands, New South Wales that celebrates music and artistic experience. The festival prides itself on bringing people and community together with multiple stages, diverse acts, immersive light and art displays and an unmatched international lineup.

Among other immersive creative displays, there was one striking artwork called ‘Programme Two,’ designed by Sam Songailo which featured SGM Lighting. Eight P-5 Wash Lights and one G-Spot were used in the design, which brought this commanding artwork to life each night at the festival. The SGM lights were specifically selected for the IP65 Rating as Splendour in the Grass is known for periods of heavy rain, and the fittings needed to be able to withstand these long periods of wet exposure.
