Ljusdesign Installed at Koorie Heritage Trust

SLD was thrilled to have distributed the Ljus Design lighting system through our Australian-based reseller, bluebottle, for Koorie Heritage Trust, located in the Birrarung building in Federation Square, Melbourne.

In December 2023, Koorie Heritage Trust (KHT) finally re-opened its doors to all after its recent expansion, along with the annual Koorie Art Show which showcases the diverse talent of Victoria’s First Peoples: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists.

The Ljus Design lighting brand was selected to be installed in these new gallery spaces, specifically the Arty Framer and Arty Zoom spotlights. These fixtures provide excellent light quality and allow the curatorial and support staff to control the fixtures via Casambi Bluetooth control and/or the local dimmer. 

Congratulations to bluebottle, who assisted the creative KHT team with setup, lighting control, and installation. It is a remarkable building in the heart of Melbourne City, celebrating and sharing the important stories of the First Nations Peoples.
