Australian War Memorial Launches Southern Entrance

SLD was pleased to supply the Ljusdesign and Xicato lighting systems through our reseller network for the Australian War Memorial's Southern Entrance.

Within the 83-year-old heritage building, the Southern Entrance welcomes visitors directly into the Australian War Memorial's powerful exhibitions, which celebrate courage, sacrifice, and remembrance. The redesigned Main Entrance Foyer enhances access for all visitors, providing an inclusive visitor information area, gallery displays, and an on-site shop. The new entrance forms part of an ongoing redevelopment project at the Australian War Memorial, which is scheduled for delivery in stages until 2028.

Working alongside expert collaborators from design to installation, we are proud to share that the Southern Entrance exhibition lighting for the curated displays was supplied by our local reseller, Designcase. Specifically, the Ljusdesign Neo Framer Wide and Arty Framer spotlights that now frame and illuminate the displays with precision. Additionally, the Xicato Flexible Linear LED lighting has been installed throughout the Southern Entrance by our reseller network.
