Designed and created in the 1950s for this exact use, the Jielde lamp remains a robust and timeless piece of art with a unique ability to be moved and manipulated by the lamp arms when specific light is required. Perfect for settings such as this, where students require functional light over long periods when studying. The University decided to proceed with the orange Loft Wall Lamps and mounted them onto the desks and or walls of the study area.
