SLD is proud to have supported the installation of the CAN and Soraa lighting systems at the Naval Store, in partnership with our Western Australian-based reseller, bluebottle.

Located in Fremantle, the Naval Store is a heritage-listed warehouse built in 1935. It acts as a multi-purpose space for creative studios, music, art, events and other community venue requirements.

In mid-2025, the Naval Store team sought exhibition-quality lighting for their versatile creative space. bluebottle supplied Australian-made CAN 30 spotlights equipped with Soraa PAR30 lamps and snap lenses. Given the high ceilings, Casambi Bluetooth control has proven to be invaluable, enabling effortless dimming and management from ground level. The Soraa lamp and snap system combination delivers exceptional flexibility, allowing quick beam angle adjustments to accommodate the space's evolving requirements.

Congratulations to everyone involved in delivering this rewarding project for the Fremantle arts community. For further details on the lighting systems used, Naval Store, or our broader reseller network, please contact the SLD team.
