National Wool Museum

SLD is proud to have supported the installation of the CAN and Soraa lighting systems at the National Wool Museum.

Located in Geelong Central and curated by creative director Josephine Rout, the National Wool Museum recently welcomed the Australian-made CAN 30, Casambi spotlights with Soraa Par30 lamps to showcase and illuminate new exhibitions. These lights will replace the existing lighting fixtures throughout the museum display areas.

In addition to the display areas, the CAN spotlights have also been installed in the track system within the lobby area, a peaceful space where volunteers sit and greet museum visitors. Given the high ceilings, Casambi Bluetooth control has proven to be invaluable, enabling effortless dimming and management from ground level. The Soraa lamp and snap system combination delivers exceptional flexibility, allowing quick beam angle adjustments to accommodate the space's evolving requirements from events to general room lighting.
