SLD is proud to have supported the installation of Ljusdesign, Soraa, and CAN lighting systems at the Islamic Museum of Australia, in partnership with our Victorian-based reseller, bluebottle.

Established in 2010, the Islamic Museum of Australia (IMA) is a not-for-profit foundation dedicated to fostering cross-cultural understanding through the celebration of Islamic art, heritage, and history. Located in Thornbury, Victoria, the museum features five galleries showcasing a wide range of Islamic artistic and cultural expressions.

In August 2025, the newly opened Islamic Faith Gallery was unveiled to the public, featuring a refined and adaptable lighting solution that integrates the Ljusdesign Arty Zoom spotlights with Casambi and local dimming capabilities. Additionally, CAN 30 Track Spotlights with Casambi control were installed alongside the award-winning Soraa lighting system, including Par30 Lamps and Snap Lenses. All products were supplied by bluebottle, who worked closely with the project team to deliver a sophisticated and flexible lighting scheme that enhances the visitor experience.

Congratulations to everyone involved in delivering this exceptional project. For further details on the lighting systems used, the Islamic Faith Gallery installation, or our broader reseller network, please contact the SLD team.
