SLD Coaches received a 'Junior Excellence Achievement Award' for the 2007-08 season.

The JX program provides recognition to swimmers who have entered into the athlete development pathway. By benchmarking their performance against current JX Time Standards swimmers have identified themselves as being among the top third of all registered swimmers at their age levels.

The Achievement Award recognises SLD coaching skills in helping so many of our Club swimmers qualify for JX. Being able to nurture swimming talent is on of the most rewarding experiences they can have as a coach. The Award from Australian Swimming Coaches and Teachers Association is recognition of SLD efforts in helping swimmers achieve their performance goals!
