The Telstra Australian Short Course Championships concluded on the 24th of September. Thirty Swimming WA members were competing at the event which was held at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre, including our own Dolphins Madi, Chezz and David.

South Lake Dolphins Team was very successful, with Madi Scott and Chezz Mentesana being stand out performers representing WA colecting many medals for the Club and the State.

Madi  broke her own Australian Record to win Gold in the 50m Breaststroke while Chezz swam another great time to record a PB and win Silver in 50m Breaststroke also.

Madi won Southlake's first ever National medal, and GOLD at that, and Chezz our 2^nd ever medal and first Silver.
